This Photograph is Proof

We visited grandmother and granddad Thomson this weekend in Kansas City! Saturday night we attended a party for one of Alex's friends' parents. We wanted to bring Holden to show him off, but our little wigglebox fell fast asleep on the couch.

Take my advice when I say, "Let sleeping babies lie."

Here is proof that Holden does in fact smile! He is becoming more and more aware of his surroundings. It's so cool to watch him interact with his environment.

It was nice to be able to have some alone time with Alex. We got to go to an art fair and go out to eat thai food on Sunday. I think having some time to ourselves is proving essential to keeping things fresh! Thank goodness for Holden's terrific grandparents!

I am thinking about throwing a Halloween party for our friends and family- one that is baby and kid friendly. What do you think?
